Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam Ramps Toward Revolution

There’s no more going downhill for the Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam title as the rumors about it skateboarding towards Nintendo’s next-generation console, Revolution, has been confirmed. According to the Nintendo Power magazine website, their next issue would unveil juicy details regarding Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam, thus confirming earlier speculations that the said title is indeed currently in the works for the upcoming console.

It’s quite intriguing to think of what innovations to the gameplay the revmote, Nintendo console’s biggest hype drawer, will bring. If real-life x-treme sportsmen like Tony Hawk can bring the sport to unprecedented heights (literally), will gamers (with their equally enhanced “equipments”) be left far behind? Only plus is, virtual skateboard-artists don’t have to endure the bruises (sometimes fractures) caused by actually playing the sport, but then again, I may be speaking too early with the possible effects the revmote may bring to the addicted gamer’s fingers.
