Ultimate Bounty Hunter Finalists

The finalists in the Ultimate Bounty Hunter contest have been announced. The contest is a collaboration between Nintendo of Canada, Future Shop, and MuchMusic. The finalists were randomly drawn from all those who entered (only Canadian residents over the age of 18). The 8 winners, one of whom will be decided soon, are from across the nation. Two from Halifax, two from the Greater Vancouver Regional District, two from the Greater Toronto Area, and one from Calgary. They range from 18 to 30 years old.

The prizes are as follows:
1st Place – $10,000 Cash
2nd Place – Trip for 2 to Whistler Blackcomb
3rd Place – Nintendo DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Dakine Backpack
4th Place – Nintendo DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Dakine Backpack

Tie Breaker: If there is a tie between first and second place for match one or two the match will be repeated with the exact same settings as stated above.

Match #3: 4 players (two winners. One from each region)
Mode: Defender
Arena: Outer Reach
Time Goal: 10
Time Limit: 15 minutes
Team Play: Off
Advanced Options: Game Defaults
Character: Kanden
Tie Breaker: If there is a tie between first and second place for match one or two the match will be repeated with the exact same settings as stated above.

Match #4: 2 players (one winner)
Mode: Survival
Arena: Transfer Lock
Lives: 10
Time Limit: 15 minutes
Team Play: Off
Advanced Options: Game Defaults
Character: Samus Aran
Tie Breaker: If there is a tie for first place a sudden death first kill tie breaker will take place. The same mode, arena, and character will be set.
