Ultimate Gamers Championship ’07 goes to Xbox Live and Otronicon
Ultimate Gamers Championship (UGC) 2007, videogame competition series will be held at Orlando Electronic Interactive Entertainment Convention (Otronicon) ’07 in Orlando, Florida and on Xbox Live. This was announced recently by The Professional Gamers League of America.
Two qualifiers will come from the ranks of gamers competing in Cyber Bowl 2 and Project Gotham Racing 3 Tournaments which will debut on Xbox Live in December. All national finalists will then move on to compete for cash prizes including round trip airfare and hotel accommodations.
The Professional Gamers League of America is a Miami, Florida-based promoter and organizer of electronic gaming tournaments and events. Meanwhile, Otronicon is a convention on consumer video games with a behind-the-scenes view of the art, technology, and science.
Registration for UGC tournaments opens online the first week of November.
