UShell v0.10

The Unique Warrior over at our QJ forums has released his first homebrew program, a PSP shell that goes by the name of UShell. This C++ homebrew shell has three features so far.

Here’s more info about UShell v0.10:

  • Plays the mp3 file located at ms0:/ushell/mp3.mp3. It’s pictured above, right. You can’t hear it (duh) but it’s playing the main theme of Red Steel (because this writer is an anime geek and wants to be a ninja).
  • It also has a background changer (it changes the color of the background of the shell – it’s pictured above, left).
  • It also has a Counter (an easy-to-use timer).
  • It must be located in the GAME150 folder because it uses the kernel.
  • The ZIP file contains the eBOOT for FW 1.00 and for 1.50 and 2.71 SE-A.

Yes, it’s very simple, but this is The Unique Warrior‘s first homebrew. If you have any feedback, feel free to comment here or head over to the forum to discuss the future development of this project. According to the readme file in the ZIP, there are still a few more things to do, including USB activation.
