VC game alert: Gradius III, Battle Lode Runner, Wonder Boy, Shockman

   

Well, we’ve been scouring the internet for more information on the latest releases for the Virtual Console, and we’ve managed to come up with three potential releases, with an extra one for good measure.

The Nintendo boards came up with two of the video games we’ve got today. According to Yamiiguy, Gradius III is already on the server, and pictures have already come up to help the hopefuls in remembering just which Gradius game that one was. On another forum thread, Nintendogamer555 also noted that Wonder Boy in Monster Land is also up on the servers, so we should be expecting those two to come up as buyable games come Monday.

We also found two additional games on a Hudson Soft virtual console site. The first one, which seems to be definite for a April 23 release, is Battle Lode Runner, which will apparently set you back 600 Wii points. One other game, which has an undetermined April release date, is Shockman, which will also cost 600 Points. Since there are only two weeks left in the month, you can expect the game to hit either this Monday or next.
