Video: The Agency’s Agencies and Experiences interview

More details abound the upcoming MMO that has everyone talking, Sony Online Entertainment’s The Agency for the PlayStation 3, in this video interview. We give you the skinny on what’s the latest about the video game experience of all things shaken and not stirred.

In this video, we get to know a little bit more about the two agencies you’ll be working with right off the bat. There’s Unite, where the sheer black gown/tuxedo spy types are usually found – and on the other side of the spectrum is Paragon, where the ex-military, highest-bidder dudes will be chilling in. You’ll have to choose, of course, and picking depends on what sort of gameplay you’d want, as well as the sort of character you’d want to control – but as we’ve reported, you’ll be able to make your own Agency when you’ve risen up the ranks, so it’s not much of a big deal.

We also learn that the two main multiplayer facets of the game – i.e. co-op and PvP – will be key in the overall game experience. PvP will be natural, free-flowing and takes a much wide scope – similar to the First Person Shooter titles of today. Co-op is also a huge factor in the game, as other agents will definitely be competing to accomplish their objectives first before you do – so you’ll have to work closely and efficiently with your mates not only to survive, but to outsmart the competition.

We’re not going to spoil everything for you, so it’s best if you watch the video for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
