Viva Pinata: Europe starts whacking December 1

Viva Piñata, the Xbox 360 video game version of the party favorite that is not only fun but relieves homicidal aggression, will officially launch on December 1 across the European continent. Created by Rare and developed by Microsoft and 4Kids Entertainment, Viva Piñata is set on a truly strange place inhabited by living piñata animals.

According to MS, a two-disc Special Edition Viva Piñata game with added bonuses for the whole family will be available for a limited time followed by the regular version. The Special Edition game contains a sneak peak of an episode of the cartoon as well as playable demos of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy; Frogger, Time Pilot and Marble Blast. Why settle for the regular when you can get the special one instead? Both versions will retail for £44.99 (US$85.85).
