Weekly maintenance time: whatcha gonna do?

Ah... time to wait for maintenance to finish - Image 1

Well folks, it’s that time of the week again. Blizzard reps have set their sights on yet another six hours of tweaking and fixing, as today’s weekly maintenance kicks in.

Beginning 5 AM PDT, the US servers will be down as Blizzard does their regular maintenance for all the US realms. More importantly, there’s a good chance that we might see World of Warcraft Patch 2.1.3 going live after the maintenance, though that’s only speculation on our part. The maintenance will end at approximately 11 AM PDT, so we can probably check our accounts then to see if 2.1.3 went live.

In the meantime, this necessary inconvenience also begs the question: Whatcha gonna do while WoW is down? For a good number of you, this is probably just a minor bump, seeing as there’s going to be school or work waiting for you, depending on where you live. For others, you might just take the time to go and have a quick nap before another attempt at farming Karazhan.

Personally, we here at QJ prefer just twiddling our thumbs, doing nothing while waiting for the maintenance to finish. It’s the only break we get all week, anyway. Just kidding, folks. Enjoy the respite from the daily grind of WoW.
