What's this? ESRB rates Syphon Filter: Combat Ops - Image 1

An interesting entry recently appeared over at the official site of Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) regarding the Syphon Filter franchise and a seemingly new game called Syphon Filter: Combat Ops. It already has a rating, T for violence, and its publisher is going to be Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA).

However, one should take note that there’s more to this than meets the eye. It is easy to assume that Combat Ops is going to be another iteration in the franchise. But we tried searching for Logan’s Shadow – lo and behold – it’s not listed at all in ESRB’s database.

We’re thinking that this could be a new subtitle for Logan’s Shadow. It is also possible that ESRB hasn’t updated its database and Combat Ops is nothing more but a WIP title for Logan’s Shadow before it was officially announced by SCEA. At any rate, the entry is indeed interesting and rouse some curiosity among us.

What do you think guys? Just a new or old name, or a whole new adventure all together?
