Wii Fit scans grace Famitsu magazine this New Year - Image 1While the idea behind Wii Fit and the peripheral Wii Balance Board is not entirely new, its next-gen iteration is certainly a lot more exciting than the previous exercise-based video game titles released before.

Aside from various forms of exercises, Wii Fit is also home to the avatars Mii and who knows what other features Nintendo plans to add with the European and North American release. See the scans after the jump!

Here are a couple of magazine scans for the Nintendo Wii game Wii Fit, courtesy of the Japanese publication Famitsu. The game has been available in Japan for some time now and North America and Europe should be getting it soon as well.

Aside from being just a fitness-themed video game, Wii Fit also offers a lot of exciting features that should keep players up on their toes, literally and figuratively. Aside from being compatible with the Wii Balance Board, the Wii’s cute Miis are also integrated.

In terms of gameplay, Wii Fit involves several activities ranging from yoga exercise to tightrope walking. It was sold in Japan for around US$ 79 so Wii owners in other regions can expect pricing to also remain near to that.
