Homebrew coder Litghost is back with a new update for Freespace 2. The new update brings the space combat simulation game port to beta 3. New features and support have been added to make the game more polishe.

Homebrew coder Litghost is back with a new update for Freespace 2. The new update brings the space combat simulation game port to beta 3. New features and support have been added to make the game more polished.
Here’s the changelog for Beta 3:
- Path is now checked before starting load
- USB2.0 hard-drives support via CIOS_usb2.
The dev also states that if you don’t have CIOS USB2, do not save Freespace2 files on your drive because it may interfere in the load time and may affect the gameplay of the game.
