Pacman never grows old, does he? Gaming platforms have come and gone, but our resident yellow eating machine is here to stay. And to pay homage to this classic, kickflip720 has released his project for the Wii homebrew, Pacman Emulator v1.0.
What you’ll find in this neat little package are the following:
- support for Wiimote, nunchuk and classic controller
- all working but sound is a bit dodgy
- tested on a PAL Wii using a 16:9 screen
Other instructions include:
Roms
- You will need to acquire the Mame romset for this. It is usually called pacman.zip. It should contain the files: pacman.5e, pacman.5f, pacman.6e, pacman.6f, pacman.6h, pacman.6j, 82s123.7f, 82s126.4a.
- Create the directory pacmanroms on the front SD Card and insert the files.
- Copy the files boot.elf, meta.xml, icon.png into the directory appspacman.
Enjoy!
