Remember that article about the REminiscence engine Wii port we posted about a while back? Well, here’s another engine reimplementation from bigs that has ties to Flashback‘s REminiscence engine. This time we have Raw, a re-implementation of the game engine used in Another World.

Remember that article about the REminiscence engine Wii port we posted about a while back? Well, here’s another engine reimplementation from bigs that has ties to Flashback‘s REminiscence engine.

This time we have Raw, a re-implementation of the game engine used in Another World. Old-school game fans will probably remember Another World (also known as Out of This World) as Flashback‘s predecessor.

Same deal here as the REminiscence engine: you need some files from the original Another World game to play it on your Wii.

Raw developer bigs says that if you run Raw right after running REminiscence, a bug shows up that may prevent the game from starting. Running Commander Keen before Raw is fine, though.
