WiiWare to get added Funk with a side of Kung Fu

kfEverybody loves Kung Fu fighting, and everybody loves Raymond the 70s. Stickmen Studios apparently loved the two so much that they brought the two together in one groovy party game, Kung Fu Funk.

Features:

  • 1970’s styled funky Kung Fu mini-games
  • Unique movement sensing game mechanic to maximize everyone’s Kung Fu Funkiness
  • The original 1970’s hit song “Kung Fu Fighting”.
  • Kung Fu name generator responsible for classics such as “Face of the Crab” and the “The thousand eye poke”
  • Singing Yaks!
  • Up to four player Party mode

Originally announced back in January, Kung Fu Funk is features timing-based dancing gameplay, not unlike Dance Dance Revolution back in the day, except you’ll be playing this one with the Wiimote and Nunchuk. There are other game modes, but there’s actually more funk than Kung Fu in this one, so don’t expect much fighting.

Kung Fu Funk is heading only to WiiWare for 500 points. In the meantime, you can check out media and promotional blurb at the game’s official site.
