World of Warcraft: Consortium gems to be sorted out in future patch

World of Warcraft - WoW Forums - Image 1The Consortium gem delivery in World of Warcraft still hasn’t been resolved and plenty of players are dismayed at the effort placed into the quests without due rewards. Players with good relations with the Consortium would receive their first bag of gems from Gehze, but nothing else would follow.

It’s supposed to be a monthly thing, where you could gain monthly supply of sparklies for your budding jewel-crafting profession. Or just cash it in with people who practice jewel crafting.

So what’s the big problem, you ask? Well, the system doesn’t send the rewards because it doesn’t reset the tracking for those who have completed the membership quest and qualify for the rewards. Waxxy Nethaera explains:

There is a bug with this quest at current where it is not resetting properly like it should be. This is being fixed in an upcoming patch. Unfortunately that means that everyone will need to wait a little longer until that patch is applied to get their gems and continue being able to take part in the quest.

Okay so when it gets sorted, will the weeks that passed without rewards be compensated for? In all her eternally burning light, she honestly doesn’t know because the nature of the fix isn’t known yet. So we’ll all just have to wait and see what the fix will be capable of, and then repeat the question.

But knowing ol’ blue Blizz’s “stellar” record, we’re banking on a “no-go” for the retroactive compensation.
