World Of Warcraft – Drums of War Public Test Realm Now Open

WoW

Fans of World of Warcraft will be glad to know that the public test realm for its latest content patch, “Drums of  War,” is now live. Drums of War includes a new element called cross-realm battlegrounds. Players will be able to engage fellow WoW gamers from other realms in the battlegrounds. This latest patch also includes rogue talent improvements, and world player-vs.-players objectives in Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands, however, the developers at Blizzard notes that these are still in development and undergoing some additional patching. At this time, they ask players to focus on the cross-realm battlegrounds.

If your account was active as of 12:01 AM PDT (4 AM UTC) Tuesday, July 11 you can participate in these test realms in one of three ways:

  • create a new character
  • use a pre-made level 60 character
  • copying one of your current characters from existing realms to the test realms

Instructions and the test realm client for PC and Apple platforms are available on the WoW public test realm page.

Blizzard reminds participants to keep in mind that test realms are designed to test major content patches before they go public. Be advised that changes may be introduced to the public test realms during the testing phase, before a patch goes live, and after the test realms have closed.
