World of Warcraft: Is it good to twink out a healer?

Twinking out healers - Image 1While twinking is common in the MMORPG genre, it is quite controversial in Blizzard‘s World of Warcraft (WoW). Before we proceed, we guess we should be all in the same page and a simple explanation of what twinking is should help all of us.

Basically, twinking is making your in-game character more powerful than it should be at any given level. Higher level characters enjoy this because, needless to explain, it gives them more advantages. They acquire it by having legendary gears.

However some argue that it’s just a waste of gold and destroys the fun and fairness of PvP combat. Regardless of your stand, we found an interesting topic about the matter: twinking out a healer. At once, you know that this isn’t the same as twinking other characters such as Rogues and Hunters.

Shamans, Druids, Priests, and even Paladins don’t really have much option especially around level 20 until 40. Sure you can find some items, then max out intellect, boost armor and stamina, and whatnot. But still, they are nothing compared to the easier DPS twinks.

Lane of blog site Live Journal considers Paladins but there are some issues with lack of INT mail forcing you to rely on greens in the AH. Well, druids have stealth but gears will be a problem. The list will go on and on because this hasn’t been tried out basically. We would be glad if you share some of your thoughts with us.
