WoW: Introducing Highlord Kruul

Kruul

Now that the Dark Portal is busted wide open, we will be taking a look at the some of the new people in the neighborhood. For this segment, the topic of discussion will be World of Warcraft‘s new resident doomguard: Kruul. Shortly after the demon lord Kazzak departs, Highlord Kruul takes his master’s place in Azeroth, where he continues to terrorize the residents.

Kruul can be sighted near Azeroth’s major cities, as well as near some of the outdoor areas like Hinterlands, Eastern Plaguelands, and Winterspring. For the curious players out to get a screenshot of this behemoth, we strongly advise you to turn tail and run…and pray he never saw you.

Now, for the adventurous souls who think they can take him, here are a couple of suggestions:

  • Avoid fighting him in major cities, as his “Capture Soul” Ability allows him to heal 70k – yes 70,000 – hp for every character he kills.
  • While he handles (and drops loots) like his boss Kazzak,  be reminded that his “Enrage” ability kicks in after one minute, as compared to Kazzak’s three minute activation time.
  • His max HP is currently at 350k.

With just a few more days to go before the Burning Crusade expansion, it might be wiser to wait for the new stuff you will  receive, before facing off with this dude. Good hunting.
