WoW: The Dragons are dead, give us something new please

Some people are sick of dragons, especially in World of Warcraft. It’s funny because we’ve always believed dragons were cool, but apparently some people are just plain fed up with it already.

Kulgar on the WoW Forums posted that “we’ve gone from looting all the live ones, to killing the dead ones, and soon we have to go slay them when they sleep in emerald dream. No more dragons, give us crazy giant chickens, or moonkins.”

I don’t know about most of you but I personally found this hilarious. Of course, this was addressed by Forum Moderator/ Blizzard Poster Nethaera who in an equally entertaining post:

All of the dragons are not dead but given the history of the broods and the aspects, you can easily understand why there is so much devastation in the world. They are neither small creatures nor are they of small power. As far as demons go, exactly how big is the demonic population?

I don’t think they really hold a census in the neither. They will most likely keep coming for as long as they can gain access to the various worlds and they seem to not want to give up the footholds they have wherever they have them.

Of course quite a few players added some input in this topic, giving suggestions that range from strange, (the puppy of DOOM?) to pretty cool (evil cow Tauren level), to the epic (50 foot murlock). So what will we be seeing in future expansions of the game? May I suggest a combination of the previous three ideas in one level?
