WoW tip: Getting the Aldor faction’s Auchenai Staff
Weapons. They will always make or break your quest, so you must always make sure you’ve got the best equipment at all times. Now, for those who’re still traipsing around the Outland in WoW with the vaguest knowledge of how bad things can get, here’s a tip for you guys. A very sharp tip, so to speak.
- Name: Auchenai Staff
- Type: Rare Two-Hand Staff
- Damage / Speed: 92-171 / 2.10 (62.8 DPS)
- Abilities:
- +46 Intellect
- Improves spell hit rating by 19, spell crit rating by 26, and healing and damage by up to 121, so it’s pretty darn amazing for almost any caster, especially damage-based
- Available only to people Revered by the Aldor faction
Obviously, you’ve got to choose the Aldor faction in order to get this weapon. However, the tricky part is getting “Revered” by them. You’ve got to do quests for the Aldor faction or simply turn in Marks from all around the Outland. You can hit “Revered” and bring some 60 Gold to the quartermaster to earn this prize. If you’re crazy enough to sell it prior to endgame, it’ll bag you a little less than 12 Gold.
