Xbox 360 DVD Adapter Prototype

JohnnyTk36 and WunSick  are working on an Xbox 360 DVD Adapter for the common gamer. It will let users take their drive, connect it to a PC, and allow them to mess around with the firmware. With it, they hope to encourage hackers to dump the firmware and edit it in a variety of ways to make the 360 more enjoyable for its owners. Although the prospect of piracy obviously crossed their minds, they hope that their device will be used to let unsigned code run for programs like emulators. At this point, their device is in the early stages of development and you can expect the final product to be much smaller. The current version is being built on a large PCB so people can easily see how it works, and the final price for these (if they will even be sold to the public) is currently unknown.
