Xbox 360 slim shuts down to prevent RROD?

It looks like Microsoft has added an extra trick for the Xbox 360 “slim” to prevent the console from the infamous red ring of death. More after the jump!

It looks like Microsoft has added an extra trick for the newly slimmed down version of the Xbox 360 to prevent the console from the infamous red ring of death. Instead of the seeing the usual three flashing red lights that indicates your system is doomed,  the new hardware now displays a warning message that notifies owners of a forced shutdown to protect the console from “insufficient ventilation.”
