Yggdrasil Labyrinth, the upcoming RPG dungeon crawler for the Nintendo DS, had a very private showing at the Atlus‘ E3 booth before the company put it under wraps again. Finally, the developer officially unveiled the game for the rest of us. And now we know Yggdrasil Labyrinth is a 3D dungeon crawler with a first person view.

With design and direction by Kazuya Niinou, whose previous project was the medical surgery game Trauma Center: Under the Knife, Yggdrasil Labyrinth features a character creation system. Players make up a character from a total of nine different classes. The game also has a party system with up to five characters exploring dungeons at once. The gameplay requires players to go deeper into the dungeons and reap the rewards using both DS screens with a  map on the touch screen.
