Zelda: Now a million-seller
And the Wii now has a million-seller in its midst. Nintendo of America VP of marketing and corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan, disclosed in an IGN interview that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has sold more than a million copies in the Americas alone. This is the first million-seller game for the Wii.
Well, we weren’t surprised that the game’s done so well, everybody seems to love it – a cute baby, bookies, and Famitsu itself. Kaplan also mentioned that Nintendo is right on target to sell six million Wii consoles around the world by the end of the fiscal year (which is the end of March, just so you know). Let’s wait and see which among the Wii games will follow in the footsteps of Link.
