11th Interactive Achievement Awards finalists revealed
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced that the nominations for the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards has finally been closed. We all have our own personal favorites among the games released last year. With the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards in full swing once again, you can check out if your favorite game made to this year’s list of finalists.
Today marks the beginning of the general voting for the event, with the winners to be announced on February 7 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. The voting will be conducted by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Science’s Board of Directors, which includes Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) President Patricia Vance.
This year’s Interactive Achievement Awards promises a grand showcase featuring all the greatest titles and game makers of the past year. Here’s a list of the finalists and their respective categories:

Just in case you can’t catch the event itself in Las Vegas, GameSpot and Comcast On-Demand has announced a partnership which will host a live showing of the Interactive Achievement Awards.
