14 new samples of LittleBigPlanet: more cute fun

 

Gosh darnit! If only we knew what they’re called! Whatever they are they’re so darned cute. They look like voodoo dolls that were originaly intended for evil satanic rituals, only rescued and given life by some green-non-absinthe-related-fairy from a land of Joy and Joyness. Oh sorry, you’re there, eherm, we were just talking about those little cute things in Sony and Media Molecule‘s LittleBigPlanet.

Yes, for some reason, the previous nine screens of player developed, MySpace inspired, user generated cuteness isn’t enough. This game’s pretty much been hyped since it was revealed last March 7, and based on what’s revealed so far, it’ll take a whole lot to make this game NOT deserve the anticipation its getting.

What other game allows you to create a Katamari loving Cosmic Royal Cousin, the Bride from Kill Bill, Mushroom Kingdom’s Mario, and even Disney’s Lilo using things that resemble voodoo dolls? Anyhow, the screens are below. Click each thumbnail to get a closer view (if you want to). A demo of the game should be – if the rumors prove to be true – out by Fall. We wouldn’t be surprised if PSN slows down due to downloads.
