2.71 SEB” MP3 module v0.4e

Music to our ears...Joek2100 is at it again with yet another update for his 2.71 SEB” MP3 module. It’s only been a couple of days since his previous update, and he’s done quite a lot for this new version.

This homebrew app lets you play music straight from the ms0:/PSP/MUSIC directory (unless you change the settings).

Here’s some notes from Joek2100 on 2.71 SEB” MP3 module v0.4e:

  • 0.4e: Fixed the on screen display in other display modes
  • Reduced the flicker of the on screen display
  • Added an option (see the config file) to disable the vsh from changing the clock speed when the screen turns off
  • Added a back to the CPU selection
  • (**NOTE: for some reason, the bus speed when going backwards is slower for speeds <222MHz than when going forwards)
  • (I don’t think this is a big problem, but I will see if I can fix it later)

This version has a config file, “seplugins/mp3conf.txt” so you can just tweak that file to change some directory settings of where you want to play your music from.

EvilSeph, thanks for the tip! Have a happy new year!
