2KSports bares Don King Presents: Prizefighter video
One good way to promote something is to have a famous personality offer a testimonial about it. In this case, it’s American boxing promoter Don King and the the 2K Sports boxing game named after him: Don King Presents: Prizefighter. Pugilistic previews promptly proceed after the jump.
These days, it seems that the lines between video game and Hollywood movie have become blurred. This video of Don King Presents: Prizefighter (Xbox 360, DS, Wii), starring the famous American boxing promoter himself, is a good example of that.
In the video, Don King tells the story of a boxer named “The Kid” who came to him for help. King trained The Kid and set the boxer down the road to pugilistic glory. It’s highly reminiscent of those anonymity-to-fame underdog boxing ring sagas that we’ve seen on the big screen.
Unfortunately, the video ends on a cliffhanger note and an all-important question – it will be up to Prizefighter players to finish the story. It still makes for good viewing, though. Check out 2K Sports‘ video below:
