300: March to Glory and some Brokeback loving screens
Despite the possibility of receiving some snide remarks, it takes some guts to admit that seeing a phalanx of sweaty, heavy-weaponed, half-naked men on the battlefield has a certain “thrill” factor. Face it, the screens are just oozing with high-octane action – plus a dose of “Brokeback” appeal, for some.
Based on the movie of the same title, 300: March to Glory is set to be released this March by Collision Studios. The game will have you fighting as King Leonidas or, sometimes, allow you to control your entire phalanx of soldiers. With the Frank Miller storyline, the developers even thrust in the whole graphic novel-esque feel (much like Metal Gear Solid Digital Comic) whenever the game cuts into the storytelling parts.
The gameplay will have you hacking and slashing through hordes of Persian armies and a whole caboodle of raging animals. There’ll be various weapons to choose from, each of which would have its own combat tactics.
