3DS design still not final, will be launched in “major markets” on March 2011

“The one thing, for sure,” said Fils-Aime, “is that we will launch in all of our major markets by March 31, 2011.” As for specific dates, the president of Nintendo of America pointed out that Nintendo is still “making individual market decisions in terms of what’s happening in Japan, what’s happening in the Americas [and] what’s happening in Europe.”
Reggie also mentioned that the model seen in the E3 unveiling is still not final. He didn’t give any hints or specifics as to which parts are getting redesigned, so don’t start making custom faceplates just yet.
