9 DS Units sell every minute

Despite the ugly mouths on the Nintendo big-shots’ faces, the image macro turned-meme (as seen above) is true: the DS does print money.

A recent press release from the company proudly claims that since launching in November 2004, on average, Nintendo sold nine DS units every 60 seconds. Yeah. It’s THAT hot. Last year alone, more than five million people bought a DS unit in North America.

So just in case you’re one of those folks who’s got a fist full of cash and you’re willing to try to up that average here’s a list of the games that they’ll be launching for the DS on the first three months of 2007:
