This is impressive. With only less than 48 hours officially out on retail, Bungie’s Halo 3: ODST has already racked up 900 thousand players in the last 24 hours.

Bungie records the number and pegs the number of players that had logged in the game so far at 936, 278. Well aren’t you guys excited to play? And where are the 400,00 others who pre-ordered?

No matter. The numbers are staggering and hard to ignore. Congratulations, Bungie and Microsoft.
