Black and White DS Lite Units Hit Europe Today
Dubbed as the DS Lite’s summer wardrobe, the black and white editions of the best-selling console is now sweeping across the European continent. The ebony and ivory Nintendo DS Lite units became available today, 23rd June, and will retail for around £100. Nintendo has already sold 4.5 million DS Lite in Europe since its launch. Earlier this year, the DS Lite made North American cash registers ring like crazy when it sold 136,500 units within two days of its release. Ditto for the Japanese market. But colors aren’t the only reason for buying the DS Lite. Its line-up of games continues to grow with recent addition of Dr KawashimaÂ’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? and upcoming release of the New Super Mario Bros. on June 30.
