Fire Emblem Wii Details and Character Art

The two characters above will be two of the main characters in next year’s Fire Emblem for the Wii. The male character is Sothe. The female character, named Ilyana, is a magician. The bird seen in the picture accompanies her and might just be a part of the Laguz race.

Unfortunately for us, not much is known about this next Fire Emblem game. Nintendo has kept its mouth shut on it for the most part. It seemed to make a very quiet debut at E3 and probably won’t surface until the second or third wave of Wii titles hit next year. Fire Emblem is a series SRPG series that started on the NES. (The first game to leave Japan was on the Game Boy Advance.) It has gained recognition through the years, in part due to the popularity of Marth and Roy in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The quality of the games is very high and there is no reason to expect this next game to be any different.
