Sony Teams With Lollapalooza for PSP Content
PSP owners who are also Lollapalooza junkies are in for a treat. Sony has hooked up with the music festival to allow fans access to Lollapalooza wallpapers, Perry Farrell interviews and music compilations by artists participating in the massive gathering of over 130 bands from August 4 to 6 in Chicago. Festival program guide can be loaded into your PSP, which will be very handy for the 8-stage affair. The guide includes information about participating artists, performance schedule, and the must-have festival map.
For the very young PSP owners who have no idea about Lollapalooza, it’s an American music festival that features alternative rock, rap, and punk rock bands. Dance and comedy performances, as well as craft booths are some of the highlights of the fest. Organized in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza encapsulated American youth culture for the 1990s, very much the same way Woodstock did for the 1960s. The Lollapalooza Generation is also referred to as Generation X.
