Halo 2d Alpha 2 by MasterChafed Out Now

Just a while ago I was writing on an article about Halo being turned into a movie. This time, I’m writing about Halo being turned into 2D for PSP. Such fortuity. MasterChafed, has unveiled his Alpha 2 for this homebrew coded in Lua. It has gone from looking like a blue screen with a soldier that just happened to lose its way on to a PSP screen to an I-am-coded-in-Lua-back-off-or-I-shoot kind of game.

Pretty good improvements I should say. Although, this current release isn’t much of a sight yet, at least we know that all you can basically do as of the moment is to jump and walk. Rest assured, MasterChafed is putting all his efforts into this sweet game.

What exactly is new apart from that? MasterChafed says:

Well, here it is folks, the Halo 2d alpha 2. Not much to see here, except menu music, revamped healthbar, and an ammo system. I decided to release it like this because i didn’t want people to have to wait for me to get back to work to enjoy it. So, enjoy.

p.s. i left all of the upcoming sprites in there as well, so you can get an idea of whats coming up.
