Kojima Productions reveal Games Convention Lineup
As the Games Convention, the biggest European video games show, draws near, developers begin to spill the beans on what they’ll be offering. Hideo Kojima and his company are one of the first, so here’s what to expect:
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots (PS3), probably only a video trailer
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PS2), in playable form
- Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel (PSP)
- Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP), probably only a video trailer
- Lunar Knights (DS), in playable form
Portable Ops, of course, is the game every PSP gamer has been waiting for, as it finally features true, console-like MGS gameplay and is not just a “side game” like Ac!d and the Digital Novel.
And Lunar Knights is also one of the more interesting things Kojima currently has up his sleeve. Seen as a quasi-successor to the Boktai series on the GBA, the game will be playable with the sun sensor that’s included on the Boktai GBA carts and should be one more addition to the growing list of DS RPG games in development.
Should you be planning to attend the Games Convention in Leipzig, Kojima Productions will be located in Hall 5, Booth F02.
