Final Fantasy III Trailer July 30, 2006 From the midst of the Internet comes a trailer for the much anticipated Final Fantasy III remake for the Nintendo DS. This teaser was previously highlighted on the site as a series of snapshots. Luckily, you can now experience the footage as it was meant to be seen thanks to rawmeatcowboy who uploaded this to YouTube for all of us to see! The video combines a heavy use of CG elements reminiscent of the PS2 titles and hardly any clips of actual DS gameplay. In my opinion, Square Enix is going to far out of their way to glorify the game. Instead of showing us near photo-realistic characters, let us see more of what we’ll get when we actually buy the game. Don’t be embarrassed to show off your chibis! Although, it would be rather unique if the CG style of characters were used in the cut scenes and menus of the game as video. It would be a perfect blend of cartoon and realism. Final Fantasy III arrives 24th of August in Japan and sometime in the fall for North American shores.
