Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon: New Game from Square-Enix for the DS?

What will you get when you combine Square-Enix and Nintendo DS in a sentence? Final Fantasy III. But, that answer could sooner or later change with rumors of a new Final Fantasy-related game that Square-Enix has in the works.

Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon is the supposed title of this new game, and the title alone gives us the impression that this would definitely highlight, arguably, one of the cutest sub-characters in the Final Fantasy series, the Chocobos. My Japanese is crude but if we’re going to make a literal translation of the title, it would be Chocobo and the Magic Picture Book. Reports say that it is up for release in Japan on Winter 2006. There is no official word yet from Square-Enix.
