Kobe Bryant Graces NBA 07 Cover
L.A. Lakers’ eight-time NBA All-Star guard, Kobe Bryant is set to grace the cover of NBA 07 for the PSP and PlayStation2 versions.
Bryant, drafted in 1996, made his debut at 18 years old and has since gone on to become one of the most dominant and clutch players in the game. With an point average of 35.4 this year (leading the league), he also recently grabbed the second highest NBA single game point record with 81 against the Toronto Raptors earlier this year. This is not his only accolade however, as he also holds the records for the youngest player to start an NBA All-Star Game, reach the 10,000 point mark and be named to the NBA’s All Defensive Team.
Now back to the most-anticipated videogame. NBA 07 looks set to improve over the depth and authenticity in last year’s game by introducing new features, enhanced gameplay and a inside experience to the life in the league, through Volume 2 of the Life Mode – where players will experience the ups and downs of the NBA and will explore team politics, press conferences, endorsement deals and the relationship between returning characters The Kid and Big W. Bundle this with refine mechanics, Open Shot Indicator, Power Boarding System and a dozen mini-games, NBA 07 is looking very promising.
NBA 07, by publisher SCEA, is set for release this fall 2006 and is rated ‘E’ for Everyone.
