Wii Music Orchestra: Working in the Background
For some of you who haven’t heard of Wii Music Orchestra yet (and yes, it’s been announced months ago), we don’t blame you because it’s one of the lesser known titles coming out for the Wii. And, so, maybe it’s about time we featured it. Besides, even though you might not know anything about the game, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what this is going to be like.
Put the Wiimote up together with a game called Wii Music Orchestra, and the concept behind the gameplay simply reveals itself: Wiimote becomes a conductor’s baton! The idea seems a bit dinky at first. But it might actually be fun. I mean, isn’t there anyone out there who has imagined themselves to be a maestro at an orchestra? Anyone who ever wanted to conduct some classical music?
Well, it might look like a pretty tame game, but then, you might be surprised at how tiring it could actually be. Because you’d be required to keep the pace with the orchestra by moving the Wiimote up and down, as you watch the baton signals on the screen. Of course, there’ll be room for some stylized movements also…
If you’re not into the whole “classical music” gig, then there’s still one more thing you might want to consider. Song selections of Wii Music Orchestra will also feature songs from the Nintendo franchise (e.g. The Legend of Zelda). Yeah. ‘Nuff said. Look at her demo; she looks so happy:
