Daedalus update from StrmnNrmn: the Display List Debugger

We got more info from Daedalus, an N64 emulator.”>Daedalus, an N64 emulator.”>StrmnNrmn and how busy he is with fixing up the Daedalus. It sure seems that he’s been having a bit of a hard time trying to touch up the emulator, especially when it comes to graphical issues while running certain roms. Y’know… weird polygon stuff that shouldn’t be there… or weird polygon stuff that SHOULD actually be there. Well, kudos for StrmnNrmn and his hard work (which is most definitely paying off)!

In his most recent blog update, he give us a rather detailed account of how his development process is going on: Like, for example, what his rendering process looks like for Mario 64. Sequence shots below!

Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!

Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!

Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!Mama Mia! Polygons!

From all his updates, it seems as if we can expect quite a lot of improvements in R9! And although he hasn’t given us any info as to when he’d actually release it, it’s nice to hear from him about his development process.
