New EverQuest: The Serpent’s Spine Screenshots

1

Get ready to shell out $29.99 as the release date of EverQuest Serpent’s Spine draws near. Slated to fly off this September, this EverQuest expansion portrays the saga of six majestic beasts embarking on dramatic steps to protect the future of their race, in defiance of the Council of the Ancient Dragons of the Nest’s wishes.

By mixing the blood of their kind with that of humans’, the Drakkin is born, aging very quickly and reaching maturity in a mere three months. These creatures bear the colors and the overall appearance of their bestial progenitors but are gifted with highly individual scale markings and horns. Their quest is then to set out on a pilgrimage to join their makers and the rest of their species in the city of Crescent Reach. Crescent Reach is a fully functioning city complete with merchant, quest, combat, and tradeskill areas.

In the meantime, feel free to indulge in these new screenshots from David Ford‘s game design while the game isn’t out yet.
