Despite claims by Penny Arcade that they don’t want their Penny Arcade Expo (otherwise known as PAX) to become E3, it appears that more and more visitors are flocking to the annual gaming Expo. Penny Arcade have today announced that 19,323 people who love to play videogames descended upon Bellevue, Washington last weekend for the third annual PAX game festival that included exhibits from leading developers and publishers, tournaments, concerts and more.
They have also announced that PAX 2007 will move to the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in downtown Seattle in order to better accommodate a growing list of exhibitors and attendees alike, indeed becoming a larger gaming event like E3. “We really want to thank all of the passionate gamers out there who keep coming back to PAX,” said Penny Arcade’s Robert Khoo. “The community vibe the event has is just so amazing. Sure, people thank us for putting it on, but let’s be honest- it’s the attendees and group-atmosphere that make the show.” If you didn’t get a chance to visit the Expo, here’s your chance to see what you’ve been missing out on!
