LucasArts’ Chris William Is Keynote Speaker For GDC 2006
LucasArts project leader for the next-gen Indiana Jones game Chris William has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for the Game Developers Conference to be held October 2 to 4 this year in London.
William’s speech is entitled “Unlearn What You Have Learned: Implementing Next-Gen Gameplay” and will focus on tools, technology, and development challenges of the next-generation process. It will also include info on Industrial Light and Magic and how LucasArts utilises tools based on ILMÂ’s film technology, Natural MotionÂ’s behaviour-based AI and its collaboration with Pixelux Entertainment.
Last year, Chris William also presented a unique panel describing LucasArts and Industrial Light & Magic’s commitment to a common technology base that is unifying film and game production.
