Lineage II:New Castle and Clan Hall Additions

If you make a promise, you should make sure you do it; all the more if it’s stated in blood. So what does Lineage II: Oath of Blood promise? Read on…

Clan castles in Aden and Elmore directly influences the politics and economies of adjacent areas. The castle lords commands taxes from all the residents of their territory, thus giving them almost unlimited resources. This makes the castle as an integral part of the game. It gives players a chance to be part of something that can actually affect different areas of the game. Unfortunately, it’s also the reason why they protect it so much. Castle sieges change fortunes of the players involved.

Castle sieges happen every two weeks for each castle. Once the castle lord selects the time for battle, the usurpers declare their intentions to wage war. When zero hour occurs, the raiders will have only two hours to take the walls down. The raiding leader must make his mark on the castle’s holy artifact. Then the cycle begins again.

Two more castles are added in this game, making it a total of nine castles across Aden and Elmore. Rune Castle, the new addition, receives additional tribute from Goddard and Schuttgart Castle. It also holds a boss monster within its halls. Benom is located in the prison below the castle; however, he may choose to suddenly go up the throne room during a heated Castle siege. This makes Rune all the more attractive to players. Schuttgart on the other hand, has good defence since it is nestled up in the mountains of Elmore.

More contestable clan halls in this one, too. The Wild Beast Reserve can only be taken after a beast taming quest has been finished. The group can then gain access to tamed beasts within this area. Rainbow Springs, is an unusual hall, but still worth taking. The Fortress of the Dead is the highest hall in the game. In order to take this hall, the group must defeat Lidia von Hellmann, the undead matriarch of the von Hellman family. Once beaten, the group can take over and be able to fly Wyverns in the sky.

So, did they give out what they promised? From what we’ve tackled above–quite a lot and more. If you need proof, here are some screenshots and a video to download.
