PSP Metronome – Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock

PSP MetronomeIt’s the simple but really interesting and useful homebrew apps that always interest us. ExxonValdeez emailed us this little Lua Metronome program he wrote up that will turn your PSP into every musician’s best friend.

It’s simple: drop-and-play. Copy the folder to the Lua Applications folder in your PSP. Run the program as usual, it should bring you to this setup screen:

PSP Metronome: Setup Screen

Set the desired tempo – which is based on what song or piece you are trying to play – and hit X. That should do it! This program’s useful for keeping time with your piano lessons, guitar lessons, violin lessons – anything that requires tempo.

The program, so far, doesn’t allow you to change the tempo while it’s running – you have to manually quit the program and restart it if you have to set a new tempo.

Check it out to see how this app will work for you.
