Back in the sleepy state of Colorado, mysterious MAXUM Games has been working on a fantasy title that promises to erase boundaries between comics and gaming. Based from Lara Croft Memoirs, the upcoming comic book series by R.H. Stavis, Demons of Mercy is an action/adventure game that takes place in the not so distant future.

Here, we follow beautiful assassin Mercy Dawn with a rather conflicting past. She was an orphan, adopted by the mob, and then eventually trained by the Yakuza. In one of her missions, she realizes all of a sudden that she is caught in an epic war between Heaven and Hell; and only she has the the key to salvation.

Aside from the basic plot, no further details are available as of the moment. However as part of Maxum’s Real-Time Collaboration marketing strategy, they recently opened a website that features the comic version of Demons of Mercy.
