The same “leaked Sony marketing documentation” mentioned in the God of War article was apparently rife with juicy details on more than just God of War 2, as it also talked about the online enabled version of Gran Turismo 4. The game, dubbed as Gran Turismo 4 Online Edition, is apparently scheduled to be released during the second quarter of 2006. Online play will entail upto six player online play with worldwide server rankings and replay upload (and I assume, download) options. Moreover, the game will offer online voice communication, online competitions, and the huge amount of cars and tracks from the original GT4. Whether or not there will be new content is yet to be known.
