No More Free PSU Online

Contrary to prior reports, Sega‘s PSU will not see free online play for the Xbox 360. Users must create an account with Sega and then pay a monthly fee of $9.99 for the game. Sega, on the other hand, just intends to place a demo at the Marketplace that will feature both online and offline modes. All information came from the email Sega sent to various distributors.
In a related story, a 14-day free online service for the PS2 is currently being negotiated. Apparently, some ways to exploit PSU‘s system were encountered during the Japanese trial. After announcing these online developments, Sega tries now to get a grip, focusing on the 40-hour offline mode of the game. Phantasy Star Universe is expected to come out this October.
